Imlie

Imlie is a romantic and one of the long-running Indian Hindi TV soap operas on Star Plus under the production of Lions Films by Gul Khan. This drama series has been aired since Nov 2022 and crossed the figure of 1000 episodes with a new generation and cast. It is written by Aparajita Sharma with digitally streamed by Disney+ Hotstar. Initially, Fahmaan Khan, Sumbul Touqeer, and Mayuri Deshmukh are the leading cast as the first generation. From Sep 2023, this drama comes with the new generation and new faces of Adrija Roy and Sai Ketan Rao.

Imlie is a young and ambitious girl who lives with her parents Meethi and Dev in UP. Dev Chaturvedi spent a night with Meethi a long time ago, and then the people of village asked them to marry each other. Imlie knows this fact and a social worker Satyakam helps her to overcome this identity crisis. Aditya or Adi is a news reporter who comes to visit Satyakam, and Imlie guides him to the village. Accidentally, they both get stuck in a cottage during a storm. The next day, the people of the village ask Aditya to marry her, otherwise they will kill him. Adi is already engaged to Malini. But he has to marry Imlie to save his life.
